Since 2018 we have been working with Omniverse on their Spacewalk VR experience. Starring NASA Astronaut Terry Virts and mission controller Matthew Gast. Do missions fixing the ISS and take spacewalks 250 miles above the earth.

During the pandemic we were asked to develop an experience for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. We worked with the team at SIRT to develop an experience that utilized motion captured soccer players and interactive gameplay.

WeedVR is a platform for exploring, comparing, and purchasing strains. Using VR hand controllers, the user can browse, pick up, and explore a 3D library of products with easy access to strain information and customer reviews. The virtual environment can be customized to fit any brick and mortar or online brand depending on the application. Options to integrate gamified elements, exclusive offers, reward programs, and additional 360 or promotional content will give online retailers a competitive edge.

Occupied worked in collaboration with VICE and Adult Swim star, Eric Andre, to project a holographic live Performance between Toronto and Los Angeles. The success of this performance showed us that interactive holographic technologies are the way of the future.

Kuso VR

KUSO VR is an interactive room-scale phantasmagoric experience bringing the world of Kuso into the virtual realm. An assortment of mind-bending vignettes will assault the senses. Flip through the channels of Kuso’s visceral reality and enter the darkest depths of FlyLo’s mind. The Kuso disease will infect the viewer, causing increasingly more intense and shocking hallucinations as it contaminates your virtual body. The iconic George Clinton narrates the immersive experience, guiding the viewer around the dark corners in the gruesome world of KUSO.

Golden Glove

Attempt to escape the wrath of Fritz Honka from within photo-realistic recreations of environments pulled directly from the film. Using cutting edge scanning technology, actual sets and props are brought into the virtual realm, allowing the user to interact and explore. Enter the nightmare world of one of Hamburg’s most infamous serial killers, Fritz Honka; in this virtual reality experience in support of the new film by Fatih Akin, Der Goldene Handschuh.

Body.Mind.Change.

Body·Mind·Change·Redux follows the activities of BMC Labs, a fictional biotech firm partnering with Cronenberg to develop biotech implants inspired by the intellectual property found in his films. The player’s emotional journey is anchored in the central conceit of Body·Mind·Change·Redux – a personal call to action from Cronenberg to help BMC Labs create the next generation recommendation engine, called Personal-On-Demand (POD).

Living with Jaguars is a VR documentary that lets the viewer travel deep into the Brazilian Pantanal to witness the tension surrounding one of the most critical species in South America: the jaguar. We explore the historical conflicts between cattle ranchers and these elusive cats, as well as the emergence of an ecotourism industry that is only possible because of recent jaguar conservation.
